We love heroes - and in the Bible, few come bigger than Moses. Burning bush, parting the Red Sea, delivering the Ten Commandments… his spiritual highlight reel is hard to beat. But in Hebrews 3, we’re reminded that someone far greater has come. In this message we’ll explore how Jesus is worthy of even greater honour than Moses - not merely as a faithful servant in God’s house, but as the Son over it. He’s the builder, not just the bricklayer. The author of the story, not just a supporting character.
Come be reminded that we are his people, and that our hope and confidence are not grounded in religion, reputation, or even revered leaders - but in Christ alone.

After a spiritual high at Bethel—burying idols, renewing his walk with God—you might expect Jacob’s story to go smoothly from there. But life, as we know, rarely follows neat story arcs.In our final message in our series on the Life of Jacob,  we’ll journey with Jacob through some of the hardest moments of his life: the death of Rachel in childbirth, the betrayal of his son Reuben, and the quiet passing of his father Isaac. Genesis 35:16–29 is a powerful reminder that even after we’ve made the right choices and cleaned up our spiritual house, suffering can still come knocking. What do we do when faithfulness is followed by loss? How do we respond when we expected blessings but life brings grief? And how does Jacob’s story help us grow from a transactional faith to one of deep trust in God? Join us as we explore how God walks with us—not just on the mountaintops, but through the valleys.

Genesis 35 - Helping others on their journeyAs we near the end of the series, Jacob is finally able to make good on the promise of building the alter. Having journeyed with God for many years, he now returns back to Bethel where again God meets with Jacob. Before he does that, we see a maturing Jacob able to look past his own story and think of others, and how all of them have to make changes in order to move away from their past and move closer to God.
Join us  as we celebrate with Jacob how far he has come, but more importantly that he is able to bring others with him, helping them on their own journeys toward becoming like Christ.
