This week we are continuing with our series on the Life of Jacob, looking at Genesis 29:31-30:24. Broken and dysfunctional family situations are nothing new - as we’ll see in Jacob’s story. Yet, as Sally will share from this passage, God’s grace and wisdom equip us to navigate life in a broken and sinful world with hope and faith.

This Sunday at Northgate Church, we are continuing our journey throughthe Life of Jacob and looking at Genesis 27 and the dramatic story of how Jacob steals Esau’s blessing. In this passage, we see people striving for blessings in their own way yet missing the deeper truth: real blessing comes from God, not from manipulation or human effort.  As Jonathan will share, we all long for blessing - whether in success, relationships, or a sense of purpose. But where are we looking for it?Are we, like Jacob, grasping at it through our own schemes? Or, like Esau,regretting lost opportunities and missing what God is truly offering?  Join us as we uncover how this ancient story speaks directly to our lives todayand how, in Christ, we find the greatest blessing of all!
